An UptimeRobot alternative for people who got repriced
UptimeRobot is a good monitor. Its billing is what pushed people away: in 2025 legacy plans were retired and long-time customers saw their price multiply several times over, the free plan was restricted to personal, non-commercial use, and one-minute checks moved to the higher tiers.
What FlatPing does differently
- One flat price. €3 a month or €24 a year for 50 monitors at one-minute intervals. No seats, no add-ons, no "contact sales".
- Free plan for businesses too. 5 monitors every 5 minutes, email alerts, a status page. Use it for your company, your clients, whatever.
- Status page included. 90-day history, incidents, your own domain on Pro.
- Heartbeats for cron jobs on Pro, so a backup that quietly stops running gets noticed.
- Fewer false alarms. Failures are confirmed 15 seconds later before you get paged.
What we do not have (yet)
Multi-region checks, SMS or phone alerts, DNS and SSL-only monitors, maintenance windows, team accounts. If any of those is a must, UptimeRobot, Better Stack or Hyperping will serve you better today.
Moving over
Create an account, add monitors (name, URL, interval), add a Slack or email channel, and optionally publish a status page. Ten minutes for a typical set of 20 monitors. Bulk import is on the roadmap; tell us if you need it sooner.
